When you think of Hip-hop and cultural expression within the music industry, there are definitely a few key major cities that come to mind. Some of these cities include Atlanta, Philadelphia, and New York City. A not-so-popular place to discover new talent is within the state of Alabama. While Alabama has bred talent in the past, and have current names like YBN Nahmir, and Yung Bleu, it’s not typically known for its involvement within the realm of Hip-hop.
However, one such artist named “Alabama Nick” is on a mission to staple his home state of Alabama on the map– specifically in the music scene. Alabama Nick has achieved the coveted blue checkmark for his high-quality work in recent years. Some of this work includes a recently released track titled “Money Junkie.” Money Junkie has an incredible beat overlapped by Alabama Nick and Pastor Troy’s extremely unique vocals.
