While I still consider myself to be a fairly new author in the realm of the hip-hop scene, it’s always nice to write about artists that have worked with one of my personal favorites. Day Lee is a perfect example of the type of artist I’m talking about. Lee has been making a name for himself in 2020, slowly but surely creeping up the charts.
On a recent drop of his, titled “4REALTHO”, PnB Rock is a notable feature. This song has been on repeat for a few days, as I can’t seem to get it out of my head. For good reason too, it’s not only Day Lee’s single with PnB Rock that captures the listeners attention, it’s his entire bigger project: WAY OF Vol. 2.
This album has given Day Lee a name that wasn’t entirely there before. You could say that this put his name on the map, and I wouldn’t necessarily disagree. Seeing an artist as talented as Day Lee finally start to get the attention that he deserves, is a beautiful thing. Considering the wake he’s made amidst a pandemic, it will be extremely exciting to see what he does at the start of 2021.
