GRAE- soft (Track Review)

Written by Parys Wyatt

Look at the nearest clock. What time does it say? That’s incorrect. It’s actually time to fall in love, thanks to GRAE. So, if you want to get that sappy butterflies-in-your-stomach feeling for no reason at all, you may want to stick around. If you’ve read any of my earlier pieces, you know that love songs are my default energy. Happy or sad, nine times out of  ten I’m with the shits. With this being said, you can probably imagine how at home I felt listening to Soft by GRAE for the first time. Soft gives that feeling of “I’ve been in love before, but this feels like the first time.”

From beginning to end, this song just makes you feel all summer-y inside. Not  to mention the way GRAE’s light vocals simply float over the track. GRAE sings not only about how deep in love she is with this person, but about how this love has saved her. Sheesh. If my next relationship doesn’t make me feel the same way this song does, I do not want it. All I’m saying is, if you have a playlist for songs that make every day seem like Valentine’s Day, Soft by GRAE belongs on it. Check it out below!
