ILTON’s “My Place” is a dance-pop banger that radiates cool. With smooth vocals just above a whisper and a beat that could have your grandma hitting the wobble, the track gravitates you into an imaginative scenery of a VIP dreamscape--flashing lights, models, mystery. It channels MJ’s “Heartbreaker” with a sprinkle of Charli XCX.
The rhythm is infectious. Though, the instrumental can get repetitive, and the track lacks a true climax. Still, at just under 3 minutes it's a slick, sexy listen perfect for today’s audiences. ILTON shows flashes of rookie of the year--now let’s watch him evolve even further. Solid work.
