Kristin Sessilja is an amazing songwriter who was featured on Swano’s 10 as a cutting edge artist with her single “Earthquake” and now she has a new single called “W.A.I.S.T.D” which stands for “What Am I Supposed To Do.” This new track is bad ass!
Kristin is being so upfront about the down side that comes with being too much of a hopeless romantic. Too much of something can turn into a toxic situation and most of the time we don’t know where to turn next. Her flow and lyricism complemented each other so well. The dramatics of the instrumentation along with the beautiful grit in Kristin’s voice really captivated me.
When the song starts off, her first lines are “I write a lot of sad songs, it’s kinda’ my thing, I always end up broken, cause I want the strings,” I don’t know about you, but I related to these lines instantly. When you are someone who wants to continuously hold on to things that may even be bad for you sometimes you just gotta be honest with yourself and your partner. You have to ask ‘What am I supposed to do now?’ I appreciate Kristin putting her emotion and knowledge into her craft and she actually has another single newly released called “Perfect For Me” we suggest you go tune into both of these hot pop hits!
