If Fergie, Meghan Trainor, and Jack Harlow made an album together, songs like LICK! and Move With Me would be on the charts all year round. Mad Circuit's pop-smash album Airhead has skyrocketed the group's career and tossed them into the media/music industry for the last couple of years. 2021 was a strange year for all of us, optimistically speaking, 2021 was one of the most creative years people my age had to live in.
Mad Circuit are generational pioneers for confidence-driven music. Their discography contains mostly commercial records which explains their industry driven work ethic. You can catch this group in music videos, publications (like Critiques), and hopefully live in the near future.
Diving into the record LICK! on their new album was an interesting time for me. Songs with a hint of lustful intent usually use more R&B-based melodies, Lick! is an exceptional record. Although LG and Sereda make great trimmings to the main chorus, this track was an inevitable hit for them. The libs and scat-like sound effects made for a fun variation of the catchy song. A Spicy, tempting, and edgy way to show confidence. LICK! is a part of the M.A.D. album you can find on all streaming platforms right now!
