Remi Wolf- Disco Man (Track Review)

Written by Laura Jackson

I will say this, I barely ever listen to live music on my phone. This song, Disco Man by Remi Wolf has changed my ways. I recognized her as soon as I saw her face. She was on season 17 of American Idol and she rocked the stage then. Disco Man is on her EP ‘I’m Allergic To Dogs! Wolf comes from California and she is bursting onto the scene with her confidence, her warm tones and elevating high notes. Pure talent. This piece should be on everyone's good energy playlist.

In Disco Man, Wolf sings of  “a man with a plan” as they say. As if whoever she may be talking about is busy and is always ready to go. Which in a worldly aspect may be happening in any relationship, one may be so busy that they “can’t stop.” Now, we all know people get occupied and some things have to go on hold. Then, when we get together with that person, what happens? Catching up and maybe some drinks- like my favorite line “we got drunk I don't regret it.” And from her tone on that aforementioned line, she really doesn’t regret it at all.

If you happen to stop by her Instagram, @remiwolf, you’ll see she’s just as carefree and confident as she sounds.

Wolf says: “And he’s wasted all his money, but he’s never been a waste of time” and I felt that. I don’t know about you, but I’ve known a couple people who have done and have been the personification of her lyrics, which isn’t a bad thing, don't get me wrong now. And as she said in her own way, they were disco men.

So pop on over to Youtube and check out Remi's performance of Disco Man:
