There’s a reason many of us look up to people who are successful. Regardless of the industry, the journey to achievement can be a long one, and the amount of those who reach the pinnacle are slim.
Darius Hawkins is an American football player who played high school at Fredrick A. Douglass High school in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. In his career he totaled 115 tackles with 88 being solo tackles. Also coming away with 3 interceptions in his career in high school with 2 fumble recoveries.
Darius was a Blue-Grey All American selectee at the end of his senior season. Darius then attended Northeastern Oklahoma A&M Community College for two years where he had a good campaign totaling 41 tackles with 21 being solo tackles along with a Interception. He then picked up Division One interest from University of Louisiana, South Alabama, North Dakota, Oklahoma State, Texas Christian, and Prairie View A&M. Darius chose Prairie View A&M where he played one full season before the nationwide pandemic (Covid-19) struck. While at Prairie View A&M Hawkins totaled 34 tackles with 18 being solo tackles also along with a fumble recovery.
After Covid-19 struck Hawkins then transferred back home to University of Central Oklahoma where he played his final year totaling 31 tackles with 23 being solo alone with a Interception and 5 pass break ups. After the season Hawkins Declared for the 2022 NFL Draft. He Signed with sports agent William Miller with 2MSports. Darius will be training over the next few months in Tampa, FL at Cooper Sports Performance before his Pro Day in late March at the university of Prairie View.
