SWANO5IVE. Ep12.

A record that makes me feel like I'm in an early 2000s Romance film:
Rick Montgomery- Superfan
"Would it make a difference? Would you be my super fan?" Have you ever seen 50 First Dates? The Prince & Me? Think about the romance and moments of vulnerability in those films. There are scenes where this record would fit right in place! I can daydream and put this song directly in some of those scenes.

A track that gets me to clap my hands:
The Real Mack The Knife- Love's Philosophy

"Love's Philosophy" is the kind of track that feels like a party. You turn it on, and it's time to move your feet. However, it can also exist in the space of listening music, where you can sit on your couch and just nod your head to the tempo. They're influenced by Earth, Wind, & Fire. Check the, out and see if you hear the influence.

A piece I'd listen to with my soulmate:
J. Paris- runaway

Instantly, there's something here that makes you feel warm inside. At the very least, you begin to think about that one person or people you love/loved, and I don't mean just a smidge of affection, I'm talking "I'd put my life on the line for you" kind of dedication. Paris gives a performance of controlled inflection and soul searching with "runaway".

A composition that makes me want to take a chance:
Jill Ryan- Whatever It Takes

Jill Ryan's voice flourishes on its own. On this record, we're given the privilege of hearing Ryan's voice with minimal instrumentation, as we also hear it surrounded with intensified jazzy rhythms. Both ways Ryan's voice is the show and the focus of piece. As Jill sings on this track, you vicariously feel the desire to take that leap of faith you've been apprehensive to.

A track that's for adults and adults only:
UPSTRZ- Proudly

With the sensual sound of a Jacquees or PARTYNEXTDOOR- UPSTRZ delivers a late night vibe that is only for the mature. Turn the lights down, put the rose petals on the floor, and get yourself ready for a long night with your lover. Enjoy.
