SWANO5IVE. Ep2.

A song that makes me feel reminiscently ambitious:
DionRacii- Party Don't Start

I've always been someone full of motivation and drive. That'll most likely never change. But, as I mature, the way I proceed in my endeavors has changed. This record takes me back to a place where I was willing to go out on a limb without any care of consequence, no fear of repercussions, just taking chances to succeed. The party don't start until you walk in. Remember that!

A record that reminds me of my grandparents
Edgar Homeros- Belong To The Wind

I was blessed to be born into a family that was so loving and supportive. I've learned so many lessons from people like my grandfathers and grandmothers. I've even learned what "not" to do. When listening to Homero's "Belong To The Wind", his voice/composing leaves so much space for the mind to reflect and internalize their life. Looking to daydream? Turn this on.

A track that takes me back to my days in Los Angeles
Harris Mac- Honey

I'm from Baltimore, and I'm one of the proudest Baltimoreans you'll ever meet. But I'd me remiss if I didn't mention the impact living in Los Angeles had on me. When I partake in the listening experience of "Honey", I put myself right back in those moments where I'm riding a scooter at 20 mph (don't underestimate how fast that is on a scooter) in downtown LA! The wind blowing directly at me, while I'm playing Tyler, the Creator and Brent Faiyaz. There was nothing unattainable in those moments, and "Honey" reminds me that everything is still attainable now.

An artist who has everything it takes to become the next voice of Soul
Raelle- Pressure

The precision in every syllable, the ease in her voice, and the solid professional production puts Raelle in the position to be a fan favorite on the level of Sade Adu. My words do not do her potential justice. Add "Pressure" to your favorite playlists, it'll prove why it belongs in there.

A record that belongs on a Top 40 Station
Labit- Someday Faraway

Labit's songwriting is memorable, and relatable. His voice and delivery is so marketable as well. He has the juice of someone like an Ed Sheeran or even an Adam Levine. I'm not being very cutting-edge with my choice of artists here, but that is the star power Labit can obtain with pieces like "Someday Fawaway".
