SWANO's 10 [Volume 3] pt.9

Curated by Grayson Jones
Here at SwanoDown, we listen to a ton of music on a DAILY basis. And during these days, of course, there are standout tracks. Below you'll find the 10 compositions we feel you should check out tonight, (or soon). We find these artists to be the most cutting-edge. And oh yeah, this is in no particular order... You decide!
Compositionally gifted artists like Aaron Robinson, johnboybeats and Major Music, are all featured today.

Shrey Panda- Dance With Me

If you listen, you’re put into the race and aren’t going fast enough! The violinist composes their rhythms to mock the laws of parsimony. The music brings you to an industrial era West. Feel the adrenaline or trot along with what sounds like bass and slap spoons.

empty measures- Unsay

Somewhere between contemplation and manifestation is an empty measure of doubt. Following the classical style of Blockbuster Cinema, I was escorted through a self reflection concluding in G sharp. An experience.

Aaron Robinson- New Mercies

For every conflict there is a solution. For all dissonance, there is harmony. A couple philosophies I recognize come from what you hear when indulging with the bass dumping lo-fi in New Mercies.

The.Wav- Matter Forever

But if you really listen, you’re under the blue skies of Santa Monica, California, with no one close to disrupt the openness around you. The motion of the synth is washed away and returned with a head nodding bass. The Bike lane is in active use as you slowly come back to reality.

You either get it or you don’t. But either way, you will feel this music! The sample being applicable to many circumstances, this Jazz- hop style is an auditory montage!

johnboybeats- Just Feel

The saxophone is a very conversant instrument when it pertains to tone in arguments. Listen long enough, you’ll find yourself “filling in the spaces” in where your life applies to the tone. Just feel.

Washyb.- Demons.

The hellish reverse reverb will put you into a zone of action with the feeling of edge. The Bass will paraphrase better than any words. Hard.

Aaron Robinson- Fine Lines

Layed with the intention to chill. The Fine line between vibe and beat are merged by the coast.

Jester Champwick- Black Narcissus

Listen to a strong introduction drawn in from the looping acoustics. The work space is being utilized to its fullest potential by bass, synth, and percussion, each with a point to make- It’s about them.

Major Music- Reborn
Free at last from being chastised through worrisome and heartache, Reborn captures the sparse moment at the cusp of success from challenge.
