SWANO'S 10 [VOLUME 3] PT.20

Curated by Lukey Lenz
Here at SwanoDown, we listen to a ton of music on a DAILY basis. And during these days, of course, there are standout tracks. Below you'll find the 10 compositions we feel you should check out tonight, (or soon). We find these artists to be the most cutting-edge. And oh yeah, this is in no particular order... You decide!
Compositionally elevated songs by artists like Dylan Meek, Casscade, and Bluie Ryan, are all featured today.

Pink Milk- Here Comes the Pain

Fresh out of any angsty, teen drama show soundtrack, Pink Milk brings an ethereal deep rock sound that will leave you with chills and wondering why you didn’t grow up in the 80’s.

Zev Howling Music x Symon Plante- What Have You Done? (Remix)

A heartfelt and vulnerable take on a relationship. Zev speaks to his ex lover, begging the question “what have you done?” This track is perfect for reflecting on a person who hurt you and using it to grow past the experience.

Dylan Meek- Sweet Summer

I don’t know about you, but I was raised in a household where Saturdays were for cleaning. This song is one I could picture pleasantly nudging me out of my sleep to start the routine on a late August morning.

Vellesse- Holy Water Baby

It gets to a point in the relationship where it’s just best for the two of you to be apart. Doing this not only allows you to take a step back and view the situation objectively, but to cleanse your mind and spirit. This track perfects that feeling of emotional distance and why it is positive at times.

Casscade- Zoning (Live at Asylum Chapel)

There is a certain feeling when you see a performer live as it takes away that controlled sound and relies heavily on the artist to prove their talent. Casscade’s voice and flow has an almost perfect cadence. The instrumentation on this also has a heavenly feel as if you are surfing in the clouds on a mild day.

Cartier J- RedRum Freestyle

Cartier J is 13 with a ridiculous flow and a lot to learn. They're a lot of rappers out here, but seeing his talent displayed at such a young age will give you a new perspective of the word prodigy.

Kilo Tae- Toxic

In 2017, I really got into wavy rap. Since then, music has not failed to evolve but I always enjoy when an artist can bring back that period of rap with trippy beats and fun choruses.

Bongi Archi- Excuse Me

With such a rich voice, it’s hard to not to listen when Bongi Archi pleads his case for being your friend. The way Archi speaks in this song, you can tell he seriously wants to be more than friends with this girl, but he is slightly afraid of asking his true question. Something many of us can relate to.

Stephanie Rivera x Leira- Stop Calling

Ladies, this track is for those of you who have that ex who keeps bothering you. You gave them a thousand chances but they continued to blow them. With the somber pacing and powerful vocals, it really tells how deeply those feelings can be.

Bluie Ryan- Scorpion

The world loves a sexy drama and their soundtracks. If there was ever another 50 shades of Grey film, this would be one of my top candidates. It has a ominous and intriguing vibe that you can’t help but be mesmerized by.
