I’ve always been a devoted fan of Canadian R&B artists, and Zenon takes the genre to new heights with her latest track, "Smoke in My Lungs". In the song, she uses the metaphor of inhaling and exhaling smoke to represent the process of coping with and letting go of an ex. “Breathe in deep and sigh you out,” she sings.
What truly stands out is Zenon’s versatility. At times, she raps with a melodic triplet flow reminiscent of early Migos, while her powerful vocals bring raw energy to the track. This song would shine on stage or in a Tiny Desk performance—intimate, exciting, and full of personality
